Special celebrations were planned by the project team to meaningfully observe International Children’s Day, Constitution Day, and Human Rights Day, involving all children in CRE clubs and CRE teachers in the schools across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. State-level special effort was taken to highlight Constitution Day on 26^th November 2022, wherein tens of thousands of school children, teachers, and parents read aloud the Preamble to the Constitution of India in groups, in classrooms, in communities, and in School Management Committee meetings. The advocacy effort of the team yielded desirable results, when Mr.R.Sudhan, IAS, sent a circular to all 37,500 School Management Committees across Tamil Nadu to read the Preamble in their meetings on the previous day of the Constitution Day. Similarly, Mr.Ilam Bhagavath, IAS, gave instructions to all 200,000 Illam Thedi Kalvi Units to read aloud the Preamble in their regular meetings on 26^th November 2022.
