Vaan Muhil under the Constitutional Rights Education for Children project , meaningfully observed the International Human Rights Day on 10th December 2021 through a Webinar on the UN theme : Equality, reducing inequalities and advancing human rights. More than 120 participants participated.

In this online programme, Professor I. Devasahayam, Head, State Curriculum Committee, CRE Project delivered presidential address, explaining about the concept of equality in a dynamic way. Senior Advocate Sudha Ramalingam, Madras High Court and Human Rights activist, Advocate Henri Tiphagne, Executive Director, People’s Watch delivered special addresses. Advocate M.A. Britto, Director , Vaan Muhil moderated the sessions.

Children from Semmancheri CRE club, Thozhamai, Nova CRE Club, Indo Trust, Ammapalayam CRE Club, Power Trust, Salem, Pethaniayapuram CRE Club, IPRO, Maniyakaranpatti CRE Club, Child Voice actively participated in the Drawing festival on “En Urimai En Ulagam”( my right and my world) in a very çreative way. This was shown on live while Zoom meeting was on. Mr. P. Rajan, PME Officer delivered a vote of thanks.
