With an objective of providing knowledge on constitutional rights for children and to train them in skills required for meaningful interventions and proper perspectives, Constitutional Rights Education program (CRE) is taken up by a team of activists, initiated by Vaan Muhil.

Vaan Muhil Trust, registered as a non – profit making, Non-Governmental Organization based in Tirunelveli South Tamil Nadu has been working for the welfare and the rights of children, rural women, working adolescent girls, rural youth, unorganized workers and migrant labourers in over 100 villages in Tirunelveli, Tenkasi, Thoothukudi and Virdhu Nagar districts for the last 20 years. The organization has been collaborating with Departments of Social Welfare, Education and Labour, Childline, District Child Protection Units, Child Welfare Committees and other Child Protection structures in these districts and particularly working on child protection issues. Child's Corner

Constitutional Rights Education program involves  children in schools and in communities in a number of ways and organizes special events for them by way of meaningfully observing  important days in their clubs, such as Constitution Day, Republic Day, Independence Day, Children's Day. The CRE clubs  provide spaces for children to participate in these events in creative ways, drawing festivals, elocution contests and essay competitions on relevant themes. The CRE facilitators do motivate the children to actively participate in all kinds of events.
